On March 19th, 2016, the Ottawa South Conservative Association (OSCA) will be holding its Delegate Selection Meeting (DSM). The meeting will be held following AGM, which starts at 4pm, at the Sawmill Creek Pool and Community Centre, located at 3380 D’Aoust Avenue in Ottawa. Potential delegates should arrive at 4:00 pm in order to fill out all needed paperwork to be nominated.
The purpose of the meeting is to select up to 10 Ottawa South delegates who will represent the riding association at the 2016 Conservative Party of Canada’s National Convention. To become a delegate for the Convention, you must ensure you purchase a membership at least 21 days prior to the DSM in your local riding. Your nomination will also need to be moved / seconded by another member in attendance at the DSM.
In the event that more than 10 delegates from Ottawa South wish to attend the Convention, an election will be held at the DSM to elect the 10. Alternate delegates will also be chosen at this meeting.
The 2016 Convention will take place in Vancouver, BC from Thursday, May 26th until Saturday, May 28th at the Vancouver Convention Centre, right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. At the Convention, Conservatives from across Canada will gather to debate the party’s policies on a wide range of issues.
This event promises to be one of the most exciting and closely watched conventions in our party’s history – this is one event you certainly won’t want to miss! The early bird cost to attend the 2016 Conservative Convention is $799 for members, $499 for youth, and $1,100 as a non-voting observer. Anyone who contributes $1,525 in 2016 to the party can attend for free. Early bird rates will expire after March 31, 2016.
Should you have any questions about the Convention, please call the Conservative Party’s National Headquarters by phone at 1-866-808-8407 or by e-mail at email@example.com

Hello Ottawa South Conservatives!
Ottawa South is winnable. Together, we can win this riding, but I’ll need your help. We will require a substantial volunteer base – the larger, the better.
This weekend we are hosting Kellie Leitch, MP for Simcoe-Grey, who has carved out some time from her busy schedule to go door to door in our riding with myself and our team of volunteers. If you are interested in helping us, or getting involved with the campaign, please send us a note.

Thank you for your support!
