Get rid of the turkeys in Ottawa South!

Vote Conservative in the next election and purchase a Turkey for your family or donate it to a family in need this season

OSCA is again running our turkey fundraiser – a great opportunity to celebrate the holiday season while helping us rebuild our war chest to fight Liberal David McGuinty.

For a donation of $100, you will receive a $25 gift card for either Loblaws or Farm Boy. You can use this gift card to purchase a turkey or whatever you’d like! You will also receive a tax receipt for $75. OSCA would also be glad to instead donate your $25 gift card to the Ottawa Food Bank.

Your ticket purchase will be essential in helping OSCA build its war chest to continue to fight David McGuinty. So help OSCA get rid of the turkeys in Ottawa South!

Please contact us via email at info@ottawasouth.ca or via telephone at (613) 733-4390.

OSCA Summer Mixer a Success

OSCA members gathered downtown Ottawa to celebrate the recent election victory which gave Canada a strong, stable, national, Conservative majority government. Our Summer Mixer was a great opportunity for fellow Conservatives to meet, grab a drink, and socialize.

With a strong Conservative majority government, we now have four years to prepare for our next election. That’s four years of grassroots organization, outreach, membership, advocacy, events, and much more. These next four years will allow us to prepare an even better campaign for the next election, to make sure Ottawa South residents get the change they want to see!

We would like to encourage everyone to get involved in our organization. This is your local grassroots conservative organization. Please consider donating, becoming a member, or even serving on the Board of Directors. We will have plenty of opportunities to get involved, so if you’re interested please be sure to contact us and let us know!

Sincerely,

OSCA Board of Directors

Join us for our End of Summer Mixer!

Fellow Conservative,

You are invited to join the Ottawa South Conservative Association (OSCA) on August 30, 2011 at the Cock and Lion Pub at 202 Sparks St. The event will begin at 6:30pm.

This is a special event meant to show appreciation to all of our friends in Ottawa South and elsewhere who have helped us out and contributed to our riding association.

Admission is free! We simply ask that you make a reasonable donation to help us rebuild our finances after running a great campaign in the past federal election.

Stop in after work and enjoy a cocktail before watching the famous sound and light show on Parliament Hill or sit back and enjoy the patio music while enjoying the last of the warm summer nights.

We hope to see you all there! More information is also available on Facebook.

2011 Federal Election

Dear Supporters,

After a grueling five week campaign, Canadians overwhelmingly recognized that a strong, stable Conservative majority government is the way for Canada to proceed forward. Canadians recognized the importance of keeping taxes low, creating jobs, and ensuring Canada comes out of the recession on top of almost every other nation.

Although this victory could not be extended to all parts of Canada, there was an incredible outpouring of support throughout Ottawa South. Thousands upon thousands of residents voted for change in Ottawa South.

Call to Help Elie

Ottawa South Residents,

A wasteful, reckless, and unnecessary election is now upon us. Even though we did not believe this was the time for an election, it is now upon us, and we will make sure we win in Ottawa South!

Elie needs your help to turn Ottawa South Blue!

Lawn Signs
We’re happy to get you a lawn sign to show your support. You can drop by the office at 1717 Bank St., call (613) 733-4390, or fill out the form here and we’ll have you a sign as soon as possible.

If your lawn sign is taken or damaged please contact us so that we can have the sign replaced.

Donations
Your donations are essential to keeping the campaign rolling. We are constantly creating and distributing lawn signs and literature pieces, calling our constituents, and coordinating volunteer efforts, all of which cost money.

Please make donations payable to The Elie Salibi Campaign. Donations in excess of $20 need to be by personal cheque or credit card, not in cash. You will receive a tax credit of 75% of your first $400 donated, 50% on the next $350, and one third on any further donations.

Volunteering
Volunteers drive our campaign and are the backbone of getting the word out to constituents. Volunteers are assigned various tasks in the campaign such as canvassing, literature drops, calling supporters, driving constituents to the polls on Election Day, setting up lawn signs, and much more.

Whether you’re able to volunteer for a few hours every day or a few hours a week, your efforts would be greatly appreciated. Please call (613) 733-4390 to inform us of your contact information, availability, and what you’re interesting in doing. You can also fill out our volunteer form at www.ottawasouth.ca/volunteer.
