The Ontario Electoral Commission has released its proposed riding boundaries, which will affect approximately 200 Ottawa South residents in the south-west end of our riding.

Unfortunately, we feel this proposal unfairly cuts off 200 residents from their traditional community of Ottawa South and places them in Nepean-Carleton. These residents will be disconnected from their community and forced to cross the Hunt Club Bridge to vote and belong to their new community.
This is essential to keeping our Ottawa South community together. Any adjustments to our riding should be better designed to bring Ottawa South closer to the ideal of 106,000 constituents, otherwise our riding should not be changed.
